When metabolism is affected by external stimuli (environmental changes such as temperature, light, drug intake, etc.) or diseases, the types, and concentrations of metabolites in the cells can also change. By analysing these metabolic changes, it is possible to search for biomarkers, and develop and test hypotheses about the organism\u2019s metabolism.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metabolomics Application in Metabolic Disease Research<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<i class=\"fa fa-chevron-circle-right\" style=\"color: #178fcf;\"><\/i> Metabolomics profiling helps to reveal specific metabolic changes, for example, aberrant levels of amines, amino acids, and lipids, that are known to associate with many metabolic diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.<br \/>\n<i class=\"fa fa-chevron-circle-right\" style=\"color: #178fcf;\"><\/i> Great potential for identifying biomarkers, as well as predictive and risk markers that are associated with disease development and progression, providing an effective strategy for novel therapeutic innovations.\n                        <\/p>\n<figure class=\"project-feature\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/sciencewerke.local\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/metabolic-Disease-Research.png\" style=\"width:55%;padding-bottom: 10px;\"\/><br \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"text-justify\">HMT\u2019s metabolome analysis employs CE-MS &amp; LC-MS platforms.
