Menurut data\u00a0<strong>Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO),<\/strong>\u00a0lebih dari 22% anak di bawah usia lima tahun di dunia mengalami stunting. Fenomena ini tidak hanya menghambat pertumbuhan fisik, tetapi juga memengaruhi perkembangan kognitif, daya tahan tubuh, dan kualitas hidup jangka panjang. Pada tahun 2024, Indonesia terus berupaya menurunkan angka stunting, yaitu kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita akibat kekurangan gizi kronis. Pemerintah menargetkan penurunan prevalensi stunting menjadi 14% pada tahun 2024, setelah sebelumnya mencapai 21,6% pada tahun 2022\u00a0(Sumber : Kompas Lestari, 2024).<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-justify\">Secara ilmiah, stunting terjadi akibat gangguan pertumbuhan linear selama masa emas perkembangan anak, yaitu seribu hari pertama kehidupan. Hal ini sering kali disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi kronis, infeksi berulang, dan lingkungan yang tidak sehat. Namun, salah satu penyebab utama yang sering diabaikan adalah<strong>\u00a0defisiensi mikronutrien,<\/strong>\u00a0yaitu kurangnya asupan vitamin dan mineral penting dalam tubuh. Namun, metode konvensional untuk mengukur kadar mikronutrien dalam tubuh sering kali memerlukan sampel besar, waktu analisis yang lama, dan biaya tinggi.
